Evolving: Finding the Light Within - Paperback

Healing is hard, and no one hardly ever talks about how it is often ugly and uncomfortable. Author Daveia M. Strachan knows the journey intimately. From learning to let go and persisting despite delays to finding self-love and healing the invisible wounds, she shares her nuggets of wisdom in this compilation of quotes. Told through provocative illustrations and with text that reaches your soul, the author encourages each reader to turn inward as they reflect on each quote. Evolution doesn't come by hiding the less desirable parts of ourselves or our trauma; we find the light within when we embrace our scars, overcome our fears, and give ourselves permission to shine.
