Her freelance writing has been published in hundreds of publications, including: The Atlantic, The New York Times, Scientific American, Writer's Digest Magazine, The Washington Post and many more. She holds an MFA from the Writing Seminars at Bennington College. She has taught writing through the University of Oslo, Norway, through Brown University's Summer Program, and at writing conferences around the country including the Writer's Digest Annual Conference, the Mendocino Coast Writer's Conference, and many more.
