Figurines - Hardcover

by Jamie Boud (Author), Jamie Boud (Illustrator)

In the bustling heart of 2011 New York, Rachel is on the verge of vanishing-lost in the noise, teetering on the edge of her own identity. Half a century earlier, Anna longs for that very erasure, trapped within the sterile walls of a psychiatric hospital where reality slips through her fingers like smoke.

Two women. Two lifetimes. Their stories entwine across decades-Rachel, desperate to uncover the truth hidden in the shadows of her family's past; Anna, struggling to be seen before she disappears into the haze of memory and medication.

Figurines is a haunting exploration of identity, mental illness, and the fragile line between isolation and exposure, sanity and delusion. It is a story about what it means to be known-and what it costs to be forgotten.
