Inspired by her father's determination to secure a better life for his family, she has carried his lessons of faith, courage, and perseverance throughout her life. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Maria Teresa has always treasured writing to preserve memories. She and her husband, Bobby, are happily retired in Maryland, where they enjoy spending time with their children, grandchildren, and puppy, Duke.
