About Lesley Smitheringale

Lesley's art journey has taken her along several paths since graduating from Glasgow School of Art with a BA Honours in Design. Originally from Glasgow in Scotland, Lesley went on to become an art teacher and has been an art educator for over 20 years both in Scotland and Australia where she now resides. Lesley is currently producing fine art, photographic prints, and illustrations. This has led to combining digital media into the mix to produce a range of hand-crafted products, created in her home studio in the Redlands area of Queensland, which she sells in her online Shops. As an accomplished artist and educator, the progression to writing and illustrating books was inevitable as Lesley has a strong desire to share her passion for the visual arts and the techniques she has learned on her own art journey. If you love to colour and tangle Lesley runs a website with an online shop chock full of goodies. Visit the website at http: //www.colouringandtangling.com
