Book Overview

by Phillip Cox (Author)

With immense power comes far greater responsibility.

Malakai the Noble is a Watcher. Celestial beings that are tasked with observing humanity.

He is one of the all-father's greatest achievements, yet he questions everything he knows and feels.

His exposure to man and his guilt at their sufferings will continually mold and forever change him.

Guilt will cause him to make contact to help-although this is strictly forbidden-and at that very moment, he will create something that this world has never seen.

Something that may save or destroy our world.

About Phillip Cox

Giorgia Lupi is a designer, artist, and partner at the international design firm Pentagram. A two-time TED speaker, she is a leading voice for a more humanistic approach to data. Giorgia is the author of two books, Dear Data, exploring the details of daily life through hand-drawn visual data, and Observe, Collect, Draw! A Visual Journal, a guided journal for collecting visual data. She was the 2022 recipient of the National Design Award from the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum, and her work is part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art. She has been featured in numerous media outlets, including The New York Times, The New Yorker, The Guardian, The Washington Post, T Magazine, NPR, BBC, Vogue, and Vanity Fair. A visual Op Ed that Giorgia Lupi published in The New York Times in 2023 about how she uses data to track her experience with long Covid received widespread acclaim. Phillip Cox is a writer and strategist. Previously an associate partner at Pentagram, he has worked as a branding consultant for a variety of for-profit and non-profit organizations. He is also the author of What a Building Does: The Hoosier Modernisms of Evans Woollen, in addition to other articles on architecture and the built environment.
