by R. Darrell Wallace (Author)
A frontier tale of courage, conscience, and divine purpose.
Step into the aftermath of the Civil War and follow the unforgettable journey of Gabe MacCallan, a young Kentuckian with a soldier's past and a preacher's heart. As the South lies in ruins, Gabe sets off to find peace-but God has other plans.
Godly Justice masterfully blends historical fiction with powerful moral insight. When Gabe, a Confederate veteran and conscientious objector, lands in the volatile town of Warrensburg, Missouri, he finds himself swept into a web of lawlessness, grief, and divine calling. In a region torn by guerilla warfare and moral confusion, Gabe must decide: will he run from injustice, or stand in the gap?
With vivid historical detail, richly drawn characters, and a narrative steeped in Scripture, R. Darrell Wallace delivers a story where providence is not only present-it's unmistakable. This is not just a Western. It's a meditation on justice, redemption, and the kind of quiet heroism that still inspires today.
Fans of Christian historical fiction, Louis L'Amour with a moral compass, or faith-based dramas will find this novel both soul-stirring and satisfying. Every chapter pulses with tension, integrity, and a deep reverence for God's sovereign hand in the affairs of men.
