Groundwater-Sharing Contracts: Well Share Agreements - Paperback

Groundwater-Sharing Contracts unlocks the hidden risks-and the clear path to security-behind one of modern homeownership's most overlooked vulnerabilities: the shared well.

Whether in rural estates, suburban developments, exurban neighborhoods, or small-acreage properties, millions of homeowners across America rely on a single well located on another owner's land. Turn on the tap one day, and the flow could stop-not from a broken pump, but from a dispute, aquifer decline, or a poorly drafted agreement.

Registered Geologist Gary L. Hix draws on deep professional experience to examine the critical yet often misunderstood distinction between the well itself and the groundwater it delivers.

In this timely book, Hix offers a fresh perspective on establishing clearer, more equitable arrangements for sharing this essential resource-along with thoughtful recommendations for greater protection and oversight.

Essential reading for homeowners with shared wells, real estate professionals, attorneys, lenders, and anyone concerned with sustainable water access.

Discover a more secure approach to one of life's most vital necessities.
