Harley-Davidson FXR Bible - Paperback

Though the Harley-Davidson FXR has been missing from dealerships for over twenty years, that doesn't mean interest has faded. In fact, many riders consider it the best machine Harley-Davidson ever made. If the sheer number of clubs and dedicated social media pages is any indication, the FXR is alive, well, and highly sought after.

Casual riders and hard-core FXR enthusiasts alike will find this book both deeply entertaining and highly informative. The front section features clear, concise chapters covering FXR history, year-by-year production changes, the unique FXR frame, common electrical issues, drivetrain options (including Twin Cam swaps), and step-by-step planning for a complete custom build.

The heart of the book is a series of detailed features showcasing a wide variety of modified FXRs. From classic Shovelheads and aggressive Café models to high-performance Twin-Cam-powered FXRs and pristine, over-restored FXRTs, it is all covered here (along with a few standout Dynas for comparison).

Written by well-known automotive author Timothy Remus with insights from famous bike builders, the Harley-Davidson FXR Bible delivers 144 pages and over 350 clean color photographs. Packed with well-illustrated information and zero fluff, if you ride an FXR or plan to build one, this is the definitive guide you need.
