Hood - Hardcover

by T. Rogers (Author)

"Why do you assume the worst in us, Marian?"

"Because you're a criminal," I snapped back.

"Some crimes need to be committed."

"No, they don't." Now I was getting angry. "The law must be upheld. Otherwise you've got anarchy."

"I guess it's escaped your attention that we already have anarchy."

In this bold Robin Hood reimagining, Dallas teen Marian Fitzwalter is uprooted to Barnsdale County, Alabama, a hotbed of corruption. Reeling from the move, she meets Robert Loxley, a defiant rebel branded a common thug. His brazen defiance sparks her suspicion, their encounters charged with mistrust and a tension she cannot ignore. Digging into the town's sinister secrets, she's ensnared in a dangerous web. As peril closes in, will justice come from the law-or the outlaw?
