This book also includes information about two different businesses that were contracted by the government of the United States of America: one received an order for two million units of cigars, and the other visited the White House annually with a truckload of trees from Hopkins County.

Author Biography

Author Lisa D. Piper is the coauthor of Images of America: Hopkins County with the late J. Harold Utley. Piper is a Christian fiction writer and is the author of the historical fiction Kentucky Treasure series. She has teamed up with the Historical Society of Hopkins County to bring the history of the county to life, using some of the best Hopkins County collectible postcards.
