Book Overview

by Anthony Fields (Author)

Sean Branch is no longer a man-he's a weapon. After the brutal murder of his daughter, the fragile threads tethering him to sanity have snapped. Grief turns to vengeance as Sean embarks on a relentless hunt for her killers, unleashing the kind of violence only a father's fury can summon. Old scores blur into fresh wounds, and now no one-not even blood-can be considered safe.

Quran Bashir thought he could walk away. He traded silencers for silence, laying low in hopes the streets would forget him. But murder has a long memory. Quran's past refuses to stay buried-and this time, it's not just the law closing in. It's personal.

Zin Carter is a legal powerhouse. Torn between Quran, the father of her unborn child, and the legacy of her late mother, Zin is forced to confront a painful truth: not all justice happens in a courtroom.

Meanwhile, Michael Carter prepares for a final showdown of his own. But powerful enemies from his past want him silenced for good. To survive, Michael will have to decide what he's willing to become to stay alive.

IF YOU CROSS ME ONCE could be a warning, or it could be a lesson about betrayal at its worst. In part 6, the past isn't just back-it's weaponized.

About Anthony Fields

After being sentenced to fifteen years in prison for attempted murder, Anthony Fields discovered his love for the written word. Born and raised in Washington, D.C., a desire to rise above his conditions caused him to pen his first novel, Angel presented by Teri Woods. Having watched that book receive critical acclaim and staying on the Essence Magazine Bestsellers list for months, Anthony was inspired to pen and publish his debut novel "Ghostface Killaz." He also co-wrote "Bossy" with Crystal Perkins-Stell. Now signed to Wahida Clark Presents Publishing, Anthony hopes to broaden his fan base and give the people great street tales to read. When he's not writing, he spends his time mentoring younger inmates and helping them to attain their dreams of becoming published authors. Anthony Fields currently resides in a federal penitentiary in Victorville, California.
