Author Biography

K.S. Haddock, a graduate of the University of California (B.A. Psychology), is the author of the Gen-X noir novel The Patricidal Bedside Companion (St. Martin's Press, 1994). He is an active member of the San Francisco arts community, garnering three Best of the San Francisco Fringe Festival Awards for Thanatics, A Rock Opera (2006), a musical adaptation of Sartre's No Exit, entitled Hell, The Musical (2009), and his alternate-universe musical, Hitler in the Green Room (2017). From 2011-2019, he played with the metal-grass band, The Gravel Spreaders. From 2022-24, he directed the Cheapside Music Hall, the headlining stage show at San Francisco's much beloved Dickens Christmas Fair. K.S. is married with children and resides in San Francisco. He makes his living as an Art Director for Industrial Light and Magic / LucasFilm.
