In the Silence I Found Myself - Hardcover

When I finally sat still long enough to listen, I realized that silence isn't emptiness; it's truth. It's where the spirit breathes, where wounds begin to close, and where the pieces of who we are start to find their way back home.

Born in the quiet spaces between grief and healing, chaos and clarity, In the Silence, I Found Myself is a powerfully evocative collection of poetry that gives strong and resonant voice to the lived experiences of Canada's Inuit and other Indigenous peoples. For generations, they've been forced into silence by cruelly indifferent colonizers and the governmental-policy makers who have refused to listen to any voices but their own.

But in that silence, there is strength. There is healing. And there is hope.
