Jane's World - Paperback

In her memoir-in-pieces, Jane Watkins quilts together stories and poems of pivotal events in her life, illustrated by her drawings, paintings, ceramics, batiks, tie-dyes, and vintage photos. An artist and seeker, Jane's impulses and visions propel her journey. From vivid childhood memories of living in Texas, Lebanon, and California, to coming-of-age experiments in Big Sur during the 60s hippie era (with a cross-country drug bust and stint in prison), to edgy experiences in New York City and Chile, before settling into the rhythms of Hawaii, and finally California. Jane's World is a radical kaleidoscope of one woman's search for God. You can easily turn on, tune in, and drop out of this eclectic collection at will!
