Knight Owl - Paperback

They say no good deed goes unpunished. A fact Miss Marsh can attest to. Ten years ago, she sent the love of her life away, never dreaming he would stay there.

High school principal, AMANDA MARSH, is enjoying the first week of summer break. Her perfectly ordered life is running smoothly, until her ex-boyfriend returns. Her lame efforts to evade him come to a halt when the school superintendent hires Ethan to lead one of the student summer workshops. Her anxiety mounts at the prospect of having to work with him for two full weeks.

Seven month's ago, photojournalist, ETHAN KNIGHT, came home to Apalacha Key to discuss the possible sale of his family's newspaper. When Amanda discovers him on the school grounds, and orders him off the property, her enchanting schoolmarm glare changes everything, igniting feelings he'd long forgotten. Teaching one of the school's summer workshops becomes the perfect segue to winning Amanda back. But the sweet teenage girl he left behind detests him and he has no idea why? If anyone should be angry, it's him. After all, she's the one who sent him away.
