Little Miss Linda Bad Girls of Montgomery - Hardcover

by Linda J. M. Holloway (Author)

Within the colorful and joyous pages of this book, Little Miss Linda takes her readers on a school field trip from the historical town of Mound Bayou, Mississippi to Montgomery, Alabama that inspired her to learn about seven bold and determined women who defied the odds and took an incredible stand for social justice, despite the remarkable cultural oppositions they faced.

Little Miss Linda refers to these women as "B.A.D. GIRLS," because they were bold and determined to dare to dream big dreams. These women pushed the boundaries that not only shifted a moment but started a movement that changed the course of history - The Montgomery Bus Boycott.

This book stands as a courageous invitation to invite all young readers to learn about social issues from Little Miss Linda and those she celebrates as heroes, so they too can be inspired to become social change agents rather than bystanders in the world. By doing this, society can embrace social justice advocates that will lead our world to become a better place.
