Book Overview

She came to town with secrets.

I should've stayed out of it.

The moment Marlee Frampton shows up, I know something's off.

She asks the wrong questions. Keeps her distance. Watches everything.

I tell myself it's none of my business.

But walking away from her isn't an option.

She's chasing answers about her past-about a loss that never stopped haunting her.

And the deeper she digs, the more dangerous it gets.

So I stay close.

Keep her safe.

And somewhere between the truth and the lies, she becomes more than a stranger passing through.

She becomes the one thing I won't lose.

New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Donna Grant delivers a gripping cowboy romance where secrets, danger, and undeniable passion collide in the heart of Texas.
