Love Letters to Our Daughters (LLTOD) is a compiled collection of artistic and written submissions from women of all backgrounds and ages for the purpose of uplifting and inspiring other women. The anecdotes, advice, and affirmations on these pages represent a new budding and blossoming generation of strong, resilient, and whole women unafraid to make their own voices heard.

Author Biography

Angel C. Dye is a writer, poet, and spoken word artist originally from Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas by way of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She is pursuing undergraduate studies in English and creative writing at Howard University in Washington, D.C. while beginning her professional writing career. This project is the second published work Angel has completed, the first being a collection of original poetry entitled Rhyme Or Reason which was released in August 2013. Angel hopes to go on to write more works and to eventually found a non-profit mentoring organization for K-12 students who want to cultivate gifts in fine arts. She believes that studying and pursuing the arts is not just a career but a way of life.
