Mafia Witch - Paperback

by Caterina Gregori (Author)

Forget finishing college and starting her dream career. Bea DiLorenzo just graduated into a nightmare. Her Nonna, the real power behind the Family, isn't who Bea thought she was. Turns out, burning people's eyes out with magic was just a Tuesday for the old woman. Now, Nonna wants Bea to inherit the title of Family Witch, magic lessons included. Bea's about as prepared for spells as a kitten wrangling a hairball.

But before Bea can say "abracadabra-no-way," Nonna gets iced...magically iced. Bea's the only one who knows something fishy's going on, and with her newfound powers as erratic as her temper, she needs answers. Enter Dante McKenna, a smokin' hot FBI agent with a hidden agenda hotter than a don's temper. His mission: get close to Bea, the mob boss's daughter. Easy, right? Except Dante never planned on dealing with actual magic, the kind that throws fireballs and makes furniture levitate.

Now Bea's tangled with a murderer, reeling out of control magic, and falling for a Fed who might be deader than her Nonna if she blows his cover. Dante's in deep too, because the mob princess is as tough as they come, and she doesn't play for fools. They're both in over their heads, with danger closing in and a killer lurking in the shadows. Can Bea master her magic before it gets her killed? And can Dante keep his heart out of this before it gets him whacked?
