Mama Was A Preacher and Everything Verse - Paperback

With both parents as pastors in the Methodist Church, life for Jane and her sibling remained an interesting and exciting journey. Learn more about the family's history and adventures in this poetic memoir new release.

Jane has always had an interesting life-why, she was only a few months old when her father "got the call" to travel to Panama to proclaim the Good News in Pedro Miguel. Even as a baby, Jane's inquisitive, mischievous essence sprang forth-spurring her mother's watchful eye so she didn't, say... nearly eat a large black beetle (true story)!

The Panama adventure was only the first of dozens Jane experienced in life with her parents. Soon after her return with her family to the States (and their charge in Michigan), she became a big sister to little brother Teddy.

Jane and her family lived an incredible and varied life while learning to care, support, and show up for each other and the people in her parents' congregations. Her memoir, dotted with real pictures from her life, focuses on moments like:

• Attending the Highland Fling
• Becoming a Youper
• The Big Invasion
• Moving with Mama

Also included are a litany of poems inspired by Jane's pivotal life moments, people, and places. And finally, Jane includes a comprehensive timeline of where her mother lived, along with maps and date ranges.

Discover a poetic memoir that reflects on family moments, immortalizes a strong and incredible mother, and encourages readers to find the beauty in their precious memories.
