MANU and the Butterfly Farm - Paperback

Ms Potoura's passion shines through as she speaks of the forest lands that cradle her island home and the wider landscapes of Papua New Guinea, which she proudly calls one of the most beautiful countries in the world. This reverence for nature echoes vividly in her novel Manu, where lush forest imagery becomes a dreamlike adventure. The forest is imagined as a living home-home to thousands of wild creatures and to people who cherish and study the natural world.

Manu is a young man, a boy really, who faces tragedy within his beloved family that has left them in dire circumstances. He leaves his family to seek his fortune and knowledge in the forest lands surrounding his village. With great resilience he finds it, and starts a journey that transforms both himself, his family and his future.

Incredibly well researched and a joy to read.
