MARCEL DANESI is a professor of linguistics anthropology and semiotics at the University of Toronto, and has composed puzzles for Reader's Digest as well as a blog for Psychology Today, discussing the significance of many types of puzzles. He abides by the principle that even though some puzzles may take more patience to solve, they all should be "do-able" and eventually lead to a grasp of the solution.

About Marcel Danesi

Marcel Danesi (PhD in linguistics, University of Toronto), is Full Professor of Semiotics and Linguistic Anthropology at the University of Toronto. He is well known for his work in semiotics and popular culture. He became a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada in recognition of his scholarly contributions. He is currently Editor-in-chief of Semiotica, the leading journal in the field of semiotics.
