Matched with the Boy Next Door - Paperback

by Britney M. Mills (Author)

They say laughter is the best medicine for life, but will it heal broken hearts?

Meet Evie Evans, the ultimate sidekick in her roommate's love stories. She spends her days as a bridal dress consultant, unintentionally scaring off potential suitors who assume she's all about tying the knot. But her life is far from dull. Not only does she engage in prank wars with her elderly neighbor, she finds excitement in exchanging secret letters with her pen pal on a matchmaking app she refuses to use.

Owen Young is a nurse at a local ER who's been nursing a broken heart after a long relationship went kaput. Instead of diving headfirst into another romance, he volunteers at a senior center and seeks solace in an intriguing pen pal who shares tales of globetrotting adventures. When Gordon, Owen's friend from the senior center, is discharged from the facility, Owen makes regular visits to see him. As he becomes an accomplice in the pranks, Owen realizes he's developing feelings for Evie and her sunshine personality, even through difficult circumstances.

For Evie and Owen, each prank shines a new light on the other's personality, drawing them closer together. But can their love survive the discovery of their greatest secrets?
