About Angela Davis

Angela Davis began writing personal poetry at the age of ten. Over a decade later, she decided to share some of her work with others for the first time at a poetry competition in New Orleans where she won first place. Since then, she received the Editor's Choice Award from Poetry.com for her piece titled "Next Time". In addition, she has been featured in Worcester Magazine, her work has also appears in the anthologies Dreams and Fantasies and From a Bend in the River. Davis now lives in Massachusetts where she's double majoring in English and Sociology at Clark University while working as a Reading tutor at a local elementary school. This is her first children's book.
