When obedience means death, Puah's defiance may bring the hope of deliverance.

In the land of Egypt, Puah, a skilled midwife, leads a simple life until a fateful decree from Pharaoh shatters her world; she must kill all newborn Hebrew boys. Obedience means innocent lives lost, but defiance means her own death.

As the Hebrews suffer under harsh slavery, Pharaoh spares Puah and her guild-for now. But everything changes when Moses, a hidden Hebrew child raised by the Princess, rejects his royal inheritance, and flees after a deadly mistake. Decades later, he returns as God's chosen leader and brings plagues to devastate the land.

Puah, with her medical expertise and compassionate heart, stands in the center of this divine confrontation. As the final plague unfolds, she faces a decision that will change her life forever: stay in the only land she has ever known, or follow Yahweh into the wilderness, leaving behind the women she has dedicated her life to serve.

Accompany Puah as she faces tests of faith and discovers her path to obedience in Midwives of Moses, Book 1 in the Faith Finders series.
