Miro Chronicles: Ameti Rising - Paperback

On Planet Miro, power comes from Orra-but not everyone uses it wisely.

Legacy, courage, and truth ignite the next chapter in Miro Chronicles: Ameti Rising, a fast-paced, emotionally rich sci-fi eco-adventure for middle-grade readers ages 9-12.

In the year 2403, twelve-year-old Jimmy Aster returns to Aster Academy determined to prove he is more than his legendary name. Alongside his friends Tala and Derek, he trains as an Ameti Apprentice, undertaking missions that test courage, teamwork, and the limits of Orra energy-the crystal power that fuels their world.

But far to the north, volcanic cracks are spreading, and Uncle Des rises with the Orra Crucible in hand and a plan that could fracture Miro beyond repair. As Jimmy searches for his missing otter companion, Otto, he must confront shifting loyalties and the dangerous pull of power itself. To save his planet, he must balance invention with integrity-and choose truth before Miro breaks.

Continuing the adventure begun in the acclaimed debut Miro Chronicles, this second installment blends environmental science, friendship, and emotional growth. Ideal for classroom book clubs and library collections, it inspires readers to lead with courage and care in a changing world.
