Mister Boogie - Paperback

by Dean Patrick (Author)

The worst horrors in history never die!
On the Eve of 9/11, during the commission of a heinous murder in Houston, Rex Brody's alter ego, Mister Boogie, rises from the twisted psychic of the madman. Fueled by a tragic childhood of betrayal, abandonment, and humiliation, Brody's quest for physical and mental discipline takes him to Cambodia, where a refined killer is hewn from flesh and bone. As brutal murder cases stack up, Detective Heath Spade is tasked with unraveling the mythology of violence that traces back to Jack the Ripper, the prophecy of witches, and Lilith herself. Mister Boogie takes Brody on a relentless descent into false identity, blood legacy, and to the architect of pure evil, the lavender-eyed temptress of nightmares past and present. Spade has lost one partner, another is in the hospital, and Mister Boogie is one step ahead every time. Houston is becoming a hellhole, and Spade is desperate to save the city.
