Molonga: And Other Short African Folktales - Paperback

Molonga and Other Short African Folktales is Christy Namondo Menyoli's homage to her late maternal grandmother, Yaya. The stories are recalled from childhood memories and have their own ethnic nuances while being relatable in any culture. From a princess with too many suitors, to a disgruntled farm wife with an unyielding husband, the tales are reminiscent of the Brothers Grimm and Mother Goose, but with the human emotion and richness of sub-equatorial culture.
