by J. R. Rain (Author)
Mother. Wife. Private Investigator. Vampire.
Six years ago, Samantha Moon was a federal agent-until an attack changed her life forever. Now she's a night-dwelling private investigator with a crippling sensitivity to sunlight, a taste for blood she fights to control, and a marriage falling apart at the seams.
By day she's a devoted mom shuttling her kids to school and dodging awkward questions about sunscreen and shades. By night she's a relentless PI, using her supernatural strength, speed, and razor-sharp intuition to crack cases others can't.
But her latest case may be the one that finally breaks her: a high-powered defense attorney shot five times in the head-and yet he survived. The deeper she digs into the attack, the stranger and deadlier it becomes, pulling her into a world of werewolves, ancient secrets, and her own monstrous nature.
Balancing PTA meetings with stakeouts, dealing with a crumbling marriage and a worsening bloodlust, Samantha must decide what she's willing to sacrifice to keep her family safe.
Darkly funny, deeply emotional, and wildly original, Moon Dance introduces readers to Samantha Moon, a mom like no other. Perfect for fans of Charlaine Harris, Laurell K. Hamilton, and Jim Butcher.
