Murder at Moonstone Lake - Paperback

by Ellen Holder (Author)

Retired schoolteacher, Celia Dawson, finds the body . . . and it looks like murder. Marge, manager of the retirement village, lies in a pool of blood, and Celia is determined to find the killer. Despite caution from the cops in this Central Florida town, she channels her inner sleuth, inspired by her favorite fictional detectives: Nancy Drew, Kinsey Millhone, and Stephanie Plum.

Her investigation leads her straight into the path of danger and into the company of two very different men. Detective Hendrix pushes for romance as he shares information with Celia. Milo, the strong, silent man next door is a Marine Veteran whose smoldering gaze makes her rethink her vow to give up on men.

The closer Celia gets to the truth, the more perilous the puzzle becomes. Will she back away from the case and leave it to the detectives? Will Moonstone Lake ever feel safe again? Is she watched by a stalker? Her skin crawls with the sense that she could be next.
