Murder at the Halloween Party - Paperback

by Andrea Kress (Author)

A glamorous Halloween masquerade promised mystery and mischief. But the evening takes an unexpected turn when the host is found dead before midnight.

Thirty guests, each costumed as a legendary figure from history or fairy tale, had gathered to celebrate. But behind the festive masks and sparkling conversation were old grudges, whispered secrets, and more than a few reasons to dislike the guest of honor-a self-made real estate tycoon known for stepping on toes in his climb to the top.

Was it his bitter assistant? A rival? A spurned lover-or perhaps his refined wife who may be hiding a few secrets of her own?

Private investigator Amanda Halloran and her husband, Lt. Brendan Halloran, must untangle a web of half-truths, hidden motives and deadly ambition to unmask the killer.

MURDER AT THE HALLOWEEN PARTY is the 10th book in the Massachusetts Cozy Mystery Series, set in 1930s Boston-a charming world of stylish sleuths, high society secrets where murder is always in fashion.
