Nan, Where Did We Come From? - Paperback

When a little girl gazes up at the night sky and asks her Nan where they came from, a gentle and powerful conversation unfolds. Through soft storytelling and cultural truth, Nan, Where Did We Come From? explores First Nations beliefs about the Dreaming, Ancestors, and our deep connection to Country.

This story does not share one Dreaming, but instead gently acknowledges the diversity of First Nations peoples across Australia. With over 250 different language groups and many unique cultural practices, every Mob has their own stories, songs, and ways of understanding the world.

Written from a child's perspective, this heartfelt picture book honours over 60,000 years of Aboriginal culture and celebrates the strength, spirit, and stories shared by our people.

With warmth and wonder, this is a story for every child wanting to understand where they belong-and for every adult ready to learn alongside them.
