Nine Lives on the Street - Hardcover

About a cat - in the city. "Boo" Van Den Pelt might figure that he has it made. That is, if he ever bothered to reflect on his life of luxury as the pampered pet of a wealthy Park Avenue dowager. When his cozy routine comes to an abrupt end, he is suddenly forced to live by his wits on the streets he has only traversed as a passenger in his owner's Rolls Royce. Through this realistic narrative, we enter a concrete jungle, where the challenge is to get real-really fast. A diverse collection of characters, from wannabe witches to feline revolutionaries-with knife-wielding punks, gangster cats, and a beautiful movie star in between-brings a mix of wisdom and danger to Boo, as he seeks to survive in a world much closer to the pavement than the one humans know. All of which makes Nine Lives on the Street perfect for anybody of any age who's up for an adventure on the streets of New York City.
