Not My Daughter - Paperback

"From Paradise to Panic: Can FBI Agent Eva Rae Thomas Unravel a Deadly Mystery to Save Her Daughter?"

She thinks she's going away for a relaxing weekend.

She is wrong. Very wrong.

When FBI agent Eva Rae receives an invitation to a private island for the 20th birthday party of Mark, the son of a friend from her mother's group, she jumps at the chance for a weekend of beach, sun and a drink in her hand.

Her excitement quickly turns to horror when the next morning reveals Mark's lifeless body in the ocean.

All eyes turn with suspicion toward Eva Rae's daughter Olivia, who was spotted passionately kissing the birthday boy under the moonlight the night before.

Olivia refuses to talk about what happened and soon she becomes the main suspect.

But not on Eva Rae's watch.

As local police interrogate the partygoers, dark secrets from the island's past begin to emerge.

Ten years prior, a young woman, Isla, was brutally murdered there. Her boyfriend, a poverty-stricken teen, confessed to killing her out of jealousy and went to prison.

It turns out Isla was Mark's sister.

And the boyfriend has just been released.

Soon Eva Rae faces off against the deranged killer, determined to end the reign of terror and protect her daughter at all costs.

In a shocking act of bravery, she exposes the killer's twisted motives and unveils dark secrets from both past and present to bring justice to those whose lives have been shattered by a decade-long cycle of revenge and deception.
