Cindy Freland wrote her first book, Get a Job! Your Resume and Interview Guide, in 2002 but she didn't publish it until 2012 as she thought publishing was too expensive. She discovered self-publishing in September, 2012 and has published 17 books so far. Her books are available on Amazon.com in print and for Kindle. In 2012, because of her love of children, she wrote her first children's book, Felix and the Purple Giant. Her Chesapeake Bay Adventure series is becoming popular and she has read the books several times at children's events.
