Painted Rocks a Novel - Paperback

by Kimberly Ann Freel (Author)

Painted Rocks are the creative product of a troubled teenager who has as much ambition and talent as she has angst and poor judgment. The remarkable journey of Sunny Moss leads her from the arms of her dysfunctional family and her roots in rural North Central Washington to a life on the streets of Seattle. She is forced to endure the hardship born of secrets far too big to keep in a world far too small to hide them. This tale of abandonment and family relationships leads us to hope for the heroine, a girl who never thought she was worthy of being loved like she deserved. It teaches us that truth is bigger than time and that friendship crosses all boundaries of circumstance and ways of life. It is never too late to start again. Inspirational and heart-wrenching, Painted Rocks is a story for young and old, for mothers and their daughters, for anyone who has ever gone to lengths to conceal the past, only to find that it can never really be laid to rest.
