Paragon: The Black Dog - Paperback

Deep Underneath the Rocky Mountains...

There is a civilization that no one knows about, one that has been kept secret for many years, filled with strange creatures called Grays and human-looking creatures called Units. Fifteen-year-old Jay Matthews discovers this world after he turns the tables on a black dog that has been following him, only to find out that this dog isn't a dog at all. And the stone around his neck, which is the only thing he has of his deceased mother, isn't just a regular stone. It is a Paragon.

If Jay can break free of his overprotective, controlling dad, Gene, and his Aunt Vicki, get past the bullies that plague him, and get through the deadly traps throughout the hidden underground tunnels, he might be able to uncover the secrets of the Underground and the mysterious power behind the Paragon. But first, he'll have to discover the identity of the black dog.
