by Rob Bignell (Editor), Erickson Ludewig (Illustrator), J. Hernandez (Author)

The Colorado River is life. The land is unforgiving. The frontier is lawless. But one man stands between chaos and order.
Pelon, a proud Quechan, was born along the banks of the mighty Colorado River, the lifeblood of his people. As the Southwest changes between 1850 and 1890, he faces the harsh realities of assimilation, torn between tradition and survival in a world that refuses to stand still. But Pelon is no ordinary man, his unmatched tracking skills and relentless spirit make him a force to be reckoned with.
From the wild deserts of Yuma, Arizona, to the untamed frontier towns where violence reigns, Pelon carves his own path, bringing stability to a land on the brink. Based on true events and real historical figures, this action-packed western is a gripping tale of resilience, justice, and the enduring strength of a people.
Some men are shaped by the land. Others shape history.
