Perfectly Imperfect - Paperback

New city. Same mistakes. Different accents.

When Celeste looks in the mirror, she sees a lifetime of fairy tale dreams shattered - but when she leans a little closer... she can see the life she deserves in her smile lines.

A year after moving to NYC, 38-year-old Celeste wonders how, even with an ocean between her old and new life, she still found herself making the same mistakes with the same type of men. Their accents had changed, but not their behaviour.

But what if she's been trying to rewrite the wrong story? What if the pattern she needs to break isn't about them at all?

When she finally seeks out her own fairy godmother - found not in a fairy tale, but in a therapist's chair - Celeste begins to see that her imperfections aren't a flaw to fix. Turns out, they might just be her superpower.

Perfectly Imperfect is a sharp, funny, and quietly radical story about ditching the fairy tale and finally writing your own ending.

Perfectly Imperfect began life as an original musical and is seeking its next stage.
