Pet & People Heaven - Hardcover

A heartfelt children's book that will help your little ones understand things like the loss of a pet, heaven, and grief.

Losing pets is never easy, but imagining where their spirits may have gone can be comforting.

In this book, a mother and daughter explore the idea of an ideal heaven for the pets they have known. The story starts with the loss of their dog. They have many memories with their dog and are grieved to have lost him.

The loss of a pet can be a child's first experience with grief and can help them understand the cycle of life.

This understanding can prepare a child for the loss of a human loved one.

The exploration of a perfect heaven for pets leads the mother and daughter to consider what an ideal heaven for people would be like. The different heavens they imagine make them smile and laugh, such as heaven for the bearded dragon, which must be eating his favorite snack-prickly pear cactus. Cat Heaven lets the cats claw all over the furniture, which they always get in trouble for on Earth. Of course, when a pet fish gets flushed, it lands directly in a beautiful lake in fish heaven.

I hope this book brings laughter to children and helps stimulate their imaginations.
