Prince of Savoy: A Novel of the Waldensians - Paperback

by D. J. Speckhals (Author)

One man fights for his family against the darkest of evils.

It's 1460, and newlyweds Andreas and Constanza settle into their home among the Vallense Christians of Italy's Piedmont. Navigating the challenges of a growing family, Andreas wonders when-and if-he can serve God as an itinerant preacher. When his church asks him to investigate a strange new sect, he quickly accepts the task.

Then Constanza and their adopted children are seized by the very sect he's investigating: an apocalyptic cult and its fanatical leader, the Prophet.

Now Andreas must find his family and uncover the Prophet's ominous plans before Constanza and the children suffer-even if it means confronting his own past as a son of nobility. Andreas knows Christ's love can conquer the world's worst evils, but what evil will his young family encounter? What price will Andreas pay to save them?

Journey across the Alps to the majestic shores of Lac Léman, where redemption, forgiveness, and unwavering friendship unveil the depths of God's grace. Richly detailed and biblically sound, this final chapter of Andreas's tale unfolds as he faces his deepest fears and discovers the strength of unity with fellow believers, his family, and his Savior.
