Quantum Possum: Projects & Activities for Creative Kids - Paperback

by Gina Gallois (Author), Possum Mood (Illustrator), Joyce Benzi (Consultant)

Based on the wild world of Quantum Possum: The Cosmic Taco of Possumbilities, these pages are sure to occupy your young reader's mind, heart, and body.

Just as Opal's quantum pouch is bigger on the inside, so is this collection of 28 projects and activities!

They're designed to be flexible and fun for all kinds of neurotypes.

Inside, you'll find the tried-and-true crossword puzzle, word search, and coloring pages, but that is NOT all. Most of the activities are open-ended, intended to be as BIG or as small as you want to make them! S t r e t c h them out, like Opal's bungee tail, and let your project take on a life of its own, or while away a rainy day with an amusing distraction.

While engaging on a deeper level with the story, there are also plenty of opportunities to think about vocabulary, creative writing, music, poetry, film, visual arts, and more.

Educators will love the included ready-made lesson plan with standards addressed, a proposed choice board, and a rubric for assessment.

Ages 8 to 12, grades 3 to 6.
