This is the second book in the Quilt Me a Tale series. In the first book of the series, ten-year-old Magdalena Schmidt travels from Germany to America. Her family settles near the Elkhorn River in Nebraska. The settlement is named Rock Creek. Magdalena, known to everyone (except Oma) as Lena, is at it again! There is a mystery to be solved, and she is up for the task. With the help of her twin sister, Nina, and their friend Etta Mae, they form the Riddle Team. The three girls have a riddle to solve, and they know just where to search in order to find the answers. Danger and adventure await the Riddle Team. They will discover the answer found in the patchwork along the banks of the Elkorn River.
