A California native, Karen Kennedy Samoranos has a deep and abiding love for the Golden State, reflected in the settings of her books. She believes in love at first sight, undying passion, and the rare balance of two souls in sync. As an author, all of these elements are a constant theme of her work. By day, she and her husband are committed to a music education business that forwards the cause of live jazz stage performance for children, ages 4 through 18. Family is the ultimate fulfillment-the author has four adult children, and four young grandchildren.
