Salvation: The Boundless Love of God is a profound exploration of the Christian faith and the transformative power of divine grace, authored by Marion P. McKenzie. The book serves as a spiritual map, designed to illuminate the "Plan of Salvation" and make it a workable, living reality for readers. McKenzie breaks down the complexity of salvation into three distinct, life-altering dimensions: Justification, the past verdict where one is declared righteous; Sanctification, the present process of becoming holy; and Glorification, the future promise of complete perfection .
Rooted in the foundational truth of St. John 3:16, the text delves into the mechanisms of inner transformation. It explores the concept of Regeneration as a spiritual new birth and Redemption as the price paid for freedom from the bondage of sin. To ensure the message is accessible to everyone, McKenzie utilizes "The Four Spiritual Laws" to provide a universal blueprint for faith.
What sets this work apart is the inclusion of the author's personal testimony. McKenzie shares her journey from a childhood in Jamaica as the second of seven children to becoming a seasoned educator, pastor, and global traveler . She recounts powerful moments of "divine guidance in the mundane," such as the Holy Spirit speaking to her while she washed dishes, and the miraculous healing of her mother following a stroke .
From the depths of an underwater submarine ride in the Cayman Islands to the majestic glaciers of Alaska, McKenzie illustrates that God's handiwork is everywhere . Salvation is not just a theological study; it is a heartfelt invitation to experience a life "catapulted by grace". It encourages readers to come as they are, reminding them that transformation is God's work and that the door to His favor is always open.
