by Philip G. Brown (Author)

Satan's Legions A coming-of-age adventure and a gay love story in three volumes. Book 2: Friendship In the second book in the Satan's Legions trilogy, the sleepy market town of Swanford, England, is at the centre of a conspiracy by ruthless individuals who have infiltrated the apparatus of state and are using the power of evangelical Christianity to entice ordinary citizens into their web of corruption. At the centre of this maelstrom are two teenagers, Robert Crittenden from the USA and Jack Moseley, a local boy, who have become reconciled to their sexuality and have expressed their love for each other. Now they, their friends and families must face the consequences as the new government in London passes legislation that will curb their freedoms - and open the way for the dark forces already present to gain further ascendancy and sow division and hatred throughout Swanford and beyond. Robert and Jack join the battle - but what can they do, as teenagers, when they can't trust their school, the police, the local authorities or even their parents? Old loyalties are tested - sometimes to breaking point; new friends are found in unexpected guises; and their enemies will stop at nothing to tighten their grip on the reins of power and hide their own iniquities. Join Robert, Jack, their friends and families in the second exciting instalment in the Satan's Legions trilogy.
