William A. Nash was a Professor of Civil Engineering at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and a faculty member at the University of Florida for 13 years. He served as Structural Research Engineer at the David Taylor Research Center of the Navy Department in Washington, D.C. and had extensive experience consulting for the U.S. Air Force, Lockheed Aerospace Corporation, and General Electric.Merle C.
