About Debonair Designs
Over the years of working doll-sized designs has provided me the instant gratification I seek when exploring new stitch patterns, practicing and/or improving techniques. In my desire to showcase these designs I also welcome the opportunity to share in my second love of photography, as I strive to capture that childhood innocence with realistic poses all through the eyes of my dolls. I invite you to take a moment to turn the pages before diving into your first project to peer into the 'lives' of my Kidz 'n' Cats dolls through an entire calendar year depicted in volumes one and two. About Deborah Patterson
Deb, designer/author of this publication, also known as Debonair Designs, was born and raised in England, where her mom taught her the art of knitting at a tender young age. In 1991 she met and married her American husband while on vacation in the US, and has lived there ever since. Her first introduction to the popular American Girl Dolls came in 2006, since she was already knitting sweaters for teddy bears, her husband suggested she knit for these dolls too, and so began her love affair designing and knitting for dolls.
