Book Overview

I knew Camp Shadow Lake held secrets. What I didn't know was how deep those secrets ran.My first few weeks at Camp Shadow Lake changed my life. Not only did I meet the guy of my dreams in Levi Kass, but I found my soul-sister in True King. Oh, did I mention there's this whole other world where vampires are real, witches exist, and a secret society runs everything behind the scenes? Yeah, it's been a wild few weeks. The man behind the curtain is the rich and sophisticated vampire Count Warren Thornberry, who pulls strings like an all-powerful puppeteer. For some reason, he desires me. And Warren is used to getting what he wants. But he can't have me. I'm dedicated to Levi, who has vowed to track down my father's killer and end him. As Levi heads to the mountains to fulfill his promise, Warren makes his move. While I battle against his magnetic pull, I must also fight to save my friendship with True, who seems to be drifting away before my very eyes.My attraction to Levi is my one and only constant at Camp Shadow Lake, but will even that be broken? If you love The Twilight Saga and The Vampire Diaries, you're going to have a great time at Camp Shadow Lake. Shadow Lake Vampire Society contains scenes with violence, some mild language and hot, PG-13 make outs.

About Katie French

Katie French imagined herself an author when her poem caught the eye of her second grade teacher. In middle school she spent her free time locked in her room, writing her first young adult novel. Though her social life suffered, her love for literature thrived. She studied English at Eastern Michigan University, where she veered from writing and earned an education degree. She spent nine years teaching high school English. Currently she is a school counselor, doing a job that is both one of the hardest things she's ever done and the most rewarding. In her free time she writes, reads great books and takes care of her two beautiful and crazy children. She is a contributor and co-creator of Underground Book Reviews, a website dedicated to erasing the boundaries between traditional and non-traditional publishing. She lives in Michigan with her husband and two children. She is represented by Amanda Luedeke of MacGregor Literary. You can find her at www.katiefrenchbooks.com, at www.undergroundbookreviews.com or on Facebook.
